Our Mission
Making a Positive Impact
The Concept-Therapy Institute provides a structured course of study integrating teachings of enduring wisdom with a principled understanding of the body, mind, soul, and spirit. Through tuition-based, educational programs designed for healing arts practitioners and dedicated students of personal growth, we clarify natural laws that unify diverse systems of knowledge and support ethical, informed, and principle-based professional practice and empowered personal development.
Our Vision
Acting With Integrity
To cultivate a world in which healing practitioners and seekers of self-knowledge understand and apply timeless principles governing human health, consciousness, and well-being—supporting self-actualization through lives lived in alignment with Universal Truth.
What is Concept-Therapy?
Concept-Therapy is more than a personal growth philosophy it is a framework for understanding how life works.
Rather than focusing solely on techniques or positive thinking strategies, Concept-Therapy explores the underlying principles that govern human experience. It helps individuals understand why certain approaches succeed, how thoughts influence outcomes, and how alignment with natural laws can create greater health, harmony, and fulfillment.
At its core, Concept-Therapy encourages self-discovery, personal responsibility, and a deeper awareness of one’s relationship to the Universe. By understanding these principles, individuals gain practical tools for improving relationships, enhancing professional practice, achieving personal goals, and living with greater purpose.
For more than 75 years, students from around the world have used Concept-Therapy as a guide for personal growth, professional development, and lifelong learning.
Our History
The roots of Concept-Therapy began in 1944 when Dr. Thurman Fleet started sharing his philosophy with healthcare practitioners seeking a deeper understanding of human health, behavior, and well-being. His teachings resonated with professionals across the healing arts, inspiring a growing community of students dedicated to personal growth and lifelong learning.
In 1949, Dr. Fleet formally established the Concept-Therapy Institute (CTI), a nonprofit educational organization in Texas dedicated to advancing the study and application of these timeless principles. To support this vision, he acquired the Aum-Sat-Tat Ranch in the Texas Hill Country, creating a place where students could gather to learn, reflect, and explore the relationship between body, mind, soul, and spirit.
Today, CTI continues this tradition by hosting seminars, workshops, area meetings, and annual conventions for students and practitioners from around the world. For more than 75 years, the Institute has served as a center for education, self-discovery, and professional development, helping individuals apply enduring principles to create more meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling lives.
Visitors are welcome to experience the peaceful surroundings of “The Ranch” and learn more about the educational opportunities offered through the Concept-Therapy Institute.
CTI plays host to instructors delivering Concept-Therapy seminars, area meetings, and conventions. Visitors and guests are welcome at “The Ranch,” and inquiries are accepted at the Concept Therapy Institute Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Meet Our Board of Directors
